From the Workshop to Machine Manufacturing

The story of MACHNIST began with our founder, Mr. Chen, who entered the sheet metal machinery industry at the age of 16. His first career step was in a leading state-owned metalforming machinery factory in China, where he learned machining, assembly, mechanical structure, and the manufacturing discipline behind press brake production.

This early experience gave him a deep understanding of how a reliable machine is built — not only from drawings, but from every detail in welding, machining, fitting, hydraulic systems, and final assembly.

Over 30 Years of Industry Experience

Over the following decades, Mr. Chen grew from a young workshop technician into an experienced industry professional. He worked across machining, production management, press brake tooling, machine sales, and customer service.

By working closely with engineers, operators, factory owners, and end users, he gradually understood what customers truly need from a press brake: a strong frame, accurate bending, stable hydraulic control, reliable components, and practical after-sales support.

Returning to Ma’anshan to Build a Factory

After years of experience in the industry, Mr. Chen returned to his hometown in Ma’anshan, Anhui, one of China’s important sheet metal machinery manufacturing bases.

There, he started building his own production and technical team, focusing on the development of high-performance electro-hydraulic CNC press brakes. From a small production team to a complete manufacturing base, MACHNIST gradually built its capabilities in machine design, frame welding, precision machining, hydraulic assembly, electrical control, machine testing, and quality inspection.

Expanding into Fiber Laser Cutting Machines

As the sheet metal industry continued to develop, MACHNIST expanded its product range. In 2015, the company began producing fiber laser cutting machines, bringing laser cutting technology into its existing sheet metal equipment solutions.

Today, MACHNIST provides CNC press brakes, fiber laser cutting machines, hydraulic shearing machines, panel benders, tooling, accessories, and customized production solutions for global metal fabrication customers.
