7. Orders and Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only when all required commercial and technical details have been agreed in writing and the required payment has been received according to the agreed payment terms.

Before production, the buyer is responsible for confirming all key details, including but not limited to:

  • Machine model
  • Working length
  • Tonnage or laser power
  • Controller system
  • Axis configuration
  • Voltage and frequency
  • Tooling requirements
  • Safety devices
  • Optional accessories
  • Machine color
  • Destination port or delivery address
  • Incoterms
  • Payment terms
  • Special documentation requirements

Once an order is confirmed and production has started, changes may not be possible or may result in additional costs and extended delivery time.


8. Customization

Many MACHNIST machines are manufactured or configured according to customer requirements. Customized machines may include special sizes, special voltage, special controllers, special tooling, special safety systems, special colors, special software, special packaging, or other non-standard requirements.

Customized products cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once production has started, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate technical requirements, drawings, materials, application details, and working conditions before order confirmation.

MACHNIST shall not be responsible for performance issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect information provided by the buyer.


9. Payment Terms

Payment terms shall be confirmed in our official quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, typical payment methods may include:

  • T/T bank transfer
  • Letter of Credit, if accepted by MACHNIST
  • Other payment methods agreed in writing

Bank charges, transfer fees, intermediary bank fees, and other payment-related costs shall be borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

Production normally starts after the required deposit or advance payment is received.

The balance payment must be paid before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

MACHNIST reserves the right to delay production, delivery, shipment, or release of documents if payment is not received according to the agreed terms.


10. Delivery and Incoterms

Delivery terms shall be confirmed in our official quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, or written agreement.

Common trade terms may include EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, or other Incoterms agreed by both parties.

The responsibilities, costs, and risks of seller and buyer shall be determined according to the confirmed Incoterms and written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery time begins only after:

  • Deposit or required payment is received.
  • Technical details are confirmed.
  • Drawings and configurations are approved, if applicable.
  • Required documents or information are provided by the buyer.

Delivery time is an estimated period and may be affected by production schedule, raw material supply, shipping space, customs inspection, port congestion, force majeure, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.

MACHNIST shall not be responsible for delays caused by shipping companies, customs authorities, port operations, local import procedures, buyer’s document delay, or circumstances beyond our control.


11. Shipping, Insurance, Customs, and Import Duties

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the buyer is responsible for import customs clearance, import duties, taxes, local port charges, inland transportation, unloading, installation site preparation, and other destination-related costs.

For CIF or other terms including freight and insurance, the included insurance shall be based on the agreed shipping terms and standard marine insurance conditions unless otherwise specified.

MACHNIST can assist with shipping arrangements, but we do not control shipping schedules, customs inspection, port congestion, local charges, or destination country regulations.

The buyer is responsible for checking and confirming local import requirements before placing an order.


12. Packaging

MACHNIST will provide suitable export packaging according to machine type, shipping method, and agreed requirements.

Standard packaging may include protective wrapping, anti-rust treatment, steel fixing, wooden packaging, or other export packaging methods depending on the product.

Special packaging requirements must be confirmed before order placement and may result in additional costs.

The buyer should inspect the packaging and machine condition upon arrival. If visible damage is found, the buyer should immediately take photos, videos, and obtain written records from the carrier, shipping company, port operator, or insurance party.


13. Installation and Training

Installation, commissioning, and training terms shall be confirmed in the quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, or written agreement.

Depending on the agreed service scope, MACHNIST may provide:

  • User manuals
  • Operation videos
  • Online technical guidance
  • Remote installation support
  • Online training
  • On-site engineer service, if agreed

Unless otherwise agreed, on-site installation costs, including engineer visa, round-trip air tickets, accommodation, meals, local transportation, translation, and daily service fees, shall be borne by the buyer.

The buyer is responsible for preparing the installation site, foundation, power supply, air supply, hydraulic oil, grounding, lifting equipment, tools, operators, and other necessary conditions before installation.

MACHNIST shall not be responsible for installation delays or machine performance issues caused by unsuitable site conditions, incorrect power supply, poor grounding, insufficient air supply, unqualified operators, or failure to follow our technical instructions.


14. Machine Operation and Safety

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel are properly trained before using the machine.

The buyer must operate the machine according to the user manual, safety instructions, warning labels, and technical guidance provided by MACHNIST.

The buyer is responsible for complying with all local safety regulations, electrical standards, labor regulations, and machine operation requirements in the destination country or region.

MACHNIST shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, damage, production loss, or legal consequences caused by:

  • Incorrect operation
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Removal or bypassing of safety devices
  • Improper installation
  • Poor maintenance
  • Use by untrained personnel
  • Use beyond the machine’s rated capacity
  • Use for unsuitable materials or applications

15. Warranty

Warranty terms shall be confirmed in our official quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper operation.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Wearing parts
  • Tooling wear
  • Lubricants
  • Hydraulic oil

  • Nozzles
  • Protective windows
  • Belts

  • Electrical parts damaged by unstable power supply

During the warranty period, MACHNIST may provide remote diagnosis, technical guidance, repair instructions, or replacement parts according to the actual situation and agreed warranty terms.

The buyer may be required to provide photos, videos, alarm records, system information, wiring details, operation history, or other diagnostic materials before warranty service is provided.

Warranty service does not include compensation for production loss, labor cost, business interruption, loss of profit, local repair cost, transportation cost, customs duty, tax, or other indirect losses unless otherwise agreed in writing.


16. Spare Parts and After-Sales Service

MACHNIST provides spare parts and technical support for machines supplied by us.

Spare parts may be provided free of charge or at cost depending on warranty status, failure cause, machine model, and agreed service terms.

For machines outside the warranty period, MACHNIST may provide paid spare parts, paid repair guidance, paid technical consultation, or paid on-site service.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate machine information, including machine model, serial number, controller type, photos, videos, and fault description when requesting after-sales service.


17. Technical Documents and Downloads

This website may provide catalogs, brochures, manuals, technical articles, parameter tables, drawings, or other downloadable materials.

These materials are provided for general reference only and may not represent the final configuration of a specific machine.

MACHNIST reserves the right to update, modify, remove, or replace any technical document without prior notice.
